Bowmen of Petersfield are running some additional coaching sessions this winter and spring. This is a structured coaching programme specifically designed to help improving archers, and is part of the Boost Archery scheme from Archery GB.
Theses will be run on Friday evenings (7pm until 9pm) in the Gym at TPS (far end of the main school building) and we hope to run one session a month for the next few months. The first session is on Friday 9th February.
There will be a target fee of £2 per session. We can't get into the gym until 7pm, but please arrive then ready for a prompt start.
The sessions are designed to be of most help to novice and improving archers, in fact anyone who has yet to reach a First Class classification. It doesn't matter how long you have been shooting, Juniors and Seniors are all welcome. So if you want to improve your archery then please contact us and come along!
The sessions will cover a range of topics, a mix of theory and practical, and will be run as group sessions with individual help available as required. Each session will cover different aspects of shooting as part of the overall programme and so it would be ideal if archers could attend all or most of the sessions planned over the coming months but we hope you will still benefit even if you can only make a few sessions.
The next two indoor sessions are planned for:
